CONTENT
CONTENT = CON + TENT
If you were a con, you would only think of running and hiding away from cops and other bad guys who were ready to kill you anytime. When you looked for a hiding place, suddenly you saw a small tent that people had abandoned. You went in and hid there. Because it was just a tent, no one noticed it since they targeted your house, your families' houses, hotels, and so on. You were contented.
We run all the time. We are not perfect; we commit crimes, we tell lies, we keep running away from our sins. We hide a lot of times too, maybe from our shame, maybe from our past, but God has prepared his tents for us. Are you willing to step into the tent? Or will you start building walls around your heart and try to convince yourself that you will be safe that way?
Psalm 32:7 says
Psalm 61:4 says
Psalm 91:10
Psalm 104:2
Now, if you were a con, you would also know that a tent could not last you forever. What does the new testament say about the tent on the earth then?
So, are you contented now with just a tent on this earth? Or are you still convinced that you can find joy and peace in bungalows, condominiums, and other luxuries that park themselves in your heart?

You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah
Psalm 61:4 says
I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. Selah
Psalm 91:10
then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.
Psalm 104:2
He wraps himself in light as with a garment; he stretches out the heavens like a tent

2Corinthians 5:1
Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.
So, are you contented now with just a tent on this earth? Or are you still convinced that you can find joy and peace in bungalows, condominiums, and other luxuries that park themselves in your heart?

By the way there also exist affluent bungalow and condo dwellers who are devout and use their affluence to contribute generously to mission fund, church building fund etc. May God bless them too.
Of course. On the other hand, I wish to reiterate that I am mostly referring to the bungalows and high walls in our hearts rather than the real bungalow. =D But certainly I agree with you on that.
